Sarah studied environmental illustration at Sunderland University which started a love affair with lino printing.

Shortly after in 1998, she was awarded the Lloyds private banking award at the Society of Wildlife Artists for her print, Rhino Lino. With the help of a start up grant from The Prince's Trust she began a full time career in printmaking.

A lovely interuption of a daughter, son and a wedding led to a move to Cumbria in  2003. Now living in the shadow of Crossfell in the beautiful Eden Valley, current works are inspired by the hares, songbirds and abundant furry creatures she sees in and around the surrounding fells.

In 2014, Sarah was commissioned by Holland and Holland to produce an edition of only four images to compliment their season of the 'Hare'. These were exhibited along side an exhibition of Hare lino cuts hung in the flagship Bruton street store, Mayfair, London.

In 2015, Sarah was delighted to supply The National Trust with a Lino Cut for a christmas card. She also returned to Holland and Holland with a new range of images to compliment the MacNab story.

2018 saw a sell out show at Chatsworth Horse Trials, a wonderful achievement.

In the last four years Sarah has been building a large collection of original linocuts and a complimentary range of art cards. Both are stocked in galleries across the UK
